Community Schools Work: Report from Lynn
This process evaluation of the Community School Initiative in Lynn, Massachusetts examines the development of the Community School Strategy. Beginning with the setting where the initiative takes place, this report describes the trends in the city and the schools that necessitated the strategy. Using the Community Schools' Forward Stages of Development as a rubric (See Appendix A), the Community School strategy falls squarely in the “Emerging” stage in Lynn, Massachusetts. This evaluation discusses this developmental stage's characteristics, processes, and benchmarks, including the school year 2024-25 recommendations
